Ferry to Holbox island is located in Chiquila, about 1 hour and 48 mintues from Cancun airport. The boat runs daily from am to pm every half an hour. The cheapest direct transportation is the shared shuttle that goes to Chiquila. Two shuttles run per day at 11am and 4pm. Fare is pesos. Traveling from the Cancun Airport to Chiquila port takes around one hour and a half per highway. The ferry company departs each hour to and from Holbox Island.
